Beech, Ash and Oak

We offer rough-sawn strips and squares in standard sizes in Beech, Ash and Oak, available air-dried (AD) or kiln-dried (KD).

They are suitable for small wooden articles, household items, handles, chair and table legs, and for producing FJ (finger-jointed) or full-stave panels.

They are normally sawn from fresh boards. They can also be cut from boards that have already been air-dried, for a higher-quality product.

that have already been air-dried.

These rough-sawn components are always cut from boards that have already been air-dried, to obtain an excellent result with components free from cracks, splits or twisting.

They are cut to the customer’s drawing, in straight, tapered or shaped forms, with dimensions specified for subsequent machining.

Components can also be produced with vertical grain, for specialist furniture or for steam bending.

Available species: White or Red-heart Beech, White or Brown Ash, European White Oak and American Black Walnut.

Species, moisture content, grade, tolerances and machining: we define your requirements before finding the right production solution.

Drying: Air-dried or kiln-dried material. Vacuum drying may be available, depending on the product and availability.
Quality: Grades agreed according to the application, grain and permitted defects.
FSC on request: Certified supplies through certified producers, with availability and the FSC claim verified for each quotation.
Delivery: Lead times and terms agreed with the producer, with support in coordinating collection.
